A few weeks ago I asked my friend Sofee at Heart Shaped Designs if she would mind designing a site theme for RandomtTweak.

After a couple of weeks of swapping thoughts (from me) and designs (from her), I was handed a pretty smart looking final design and the component images and font specifications for me to use in creating the final HTML/CSS design. I just hope that Sofee will forgive what I've done with her design...

Theming Drupal

Theming Drupal was an interesting experience - a lot of content boxes are generated with specific CSS class names that kind of make it difficult to be sure that I got all of them in the CSS stylesheet (unless I missed something). This is probably my least favourite part of Drupal, which is otherwise a great system (I'm currently working on some Drupal modules, and finding it a) fun and b) fairly trivial).

I'm pretty sure that all the standard user pages are properly laid out - so unless you are an administrator, you shouldn't see anything 'odd'.

Moving On

Now that the retheme is over and done with, I can start writing more content here again - so bookmark that RSS feed for articles and snippets coming soon.
